Looking to get off to a flying start with a Torchlight Infinite tier list? If you're looking to get into Torchlight Infinite but you're not sure which character to play, let us help you make that decision. The brand new PC and mobile ARPG, and the 4th game in the franchise, offers a handful of classes and varied playstyles to play around with, so our Torchlight Infinite character tier list should make things a bit easier.

This tier list is going to look at each character in the game and rank them for solo play, as that's where most of your game will be. There's a total of six characters that we will cover with a variety of playstyles each.

Torchlight Infinite tier list - Who is the best character in Torchlight Infinite?

Before we dive into the tier list, let's clear up some things. First off, we're ranking each of the hero traits going forward. While they're variations of the same character, they're often different enough from each other that one could be better than another. Secondly, each of the characters on the list so far are entirely viable options to take on all content in the game. Some will have higher levels of investment needed to get there, but it's definitely possible to do everything.

E-tier

It all starts with the E-tier, Youga - Space Time Elapse.

Youga has lower play rates this season. Earlier this year, Youga's Space Time Elapse was on the higher tiers, but there are just new traits from other heroes that have better effects.

D-tier

In D-tier, two traits of characters are included: Thea - Incarnation of the Gods, and Bing - Blast Nova.

Bing - Blast Nova has always been in the lower tiers, but recently Thea - Incarnation of the Gods has been lowered to D-tier for some reason. There are just a lot of other better traits than these.

C-tier

C-tier has three traits available: Thea - Wisdom of the Gods, Rehan - Seething Silhouette, and Carino - Ranger of Glory.

These are really decent hero traits to come by, especially this preseason. While there are indeed better traits in upper tiers, these are good enough for these characters.

B-tier

B-tier is full of interesting and powerful traits like Moto-Order Calling, Rehan-Anger, Erika-Wind Stalker, Moto-Charge Calling, Gemma-Frostbitten Heart, Carino-Lethal Flash

B-tier has the powerful traits that common characters use in-game. A few of them are mentioned here like Moto, Rehan, and Carino who are also present in lower and higher tiers. These are the most useful and most used traits so it was obvious that they are present here.

A-tier

For the A-tier, Gemma - Flame of Pleasure, Gemma - Ice-Fire Fusion, and Youga - Space Time Illusion are added to this tier.

While Youga's Space Time Elapse was once a top tier trait a long time ago, it has now fallen to the lowest. Never fear though, his Space Time Illusion is sill one of the best together with Gemma's two traits: Flame of Pleasure and Ice-Fire Fusion.

S-tier

Only one trait is available on the S-tier and that is Iris-Growing Breeze.

There have been a lot of players using this particular trait this preseason, perhaps due to its usefulness on the field. This particular trait increases the damage of your character so it is infinitely an important trait to use.
