Most controllers tend to use a handful of accepted styles as a guide, and the BINBOK PLAY Wireless Evo Game Controller is definitely taking cues from the standard Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S controller designs. However, it comes with a big improvement in that the BINBOK PLAY is significantly lighter than a standard Xbox controller. Shipping and Delivery
For this product review, the BINBOK PLAY Wireless Evo Game Controller was sent to the United States from China. Shipping info was passed along to BINBOK on June 10th, and tracking was done through YunTrack. The package was delivered without delay or issue on June 26th, just over two weeks after we’d sent the info to BINBOK.
The packaging was streamlined and simple with a small cardboard package and just enough padding to protect the controller within. The tracking number provided by BINBOK was easy to check with the YunTrack website via mobile or a desktop browser.
Controller Design
As mentioned above, the design influence for the BINBOK PLAY Wireless Evo Game Controller was definitely the modern Xbox controller style. However, they’ve enhanced it in several ways both visually and in the function of the design.
The unique surface coating serves a dual purpose by providing additional grip and also allowing the aesthetic boost of accentuating the built-in RGB ambient light. The programmable back buttons are easy to reach, and light texturing on the backside of the controller also adds to the grip you’ll have while playing.
The BINBOK PLAY Wireless Evo Game Controller also has a comfort D-Pad design, and the buttons all across the design are easy to use and responsive. The joysticks have a very tiny deadzone built-in near the center, but you can deactivate this for additional precision with No Dead Zone Mode.
Performance
Regardless of which type of game you’ll be diving into, the BINBOK PLAY Wireless Evo Game Controller brings all the precision and performance you’ll need to excel. For players seeking additional control in first-person shooter titles or precision in character movement, No Dead Zone Mode can be activated to remove the small central dead zone in the controller. However, activating No Dead Zone Mode isn’t required and we didn’t experience any issues while playing without it activated.
Whether you need the quick movement for a racing game like Mario Kart or Rocket League, or are playing something completely different, the BINBOK PLAY Wireless Evo feels right at home. On top of that, the programmable back button allows you to set multi-button combos to a single button press which can majorly level up your skills in a standard fighting game or anything where multi-button combos make a big impact.
Long Play (4 hours)
With a far more ergonomic and natural feel compared to holding the standard issue Nintendo Switch joycons, the BINBOK PLAY Wireless Evo is a great controller to utilize for long periods of time. The lightness of the design, especially when compared to similar models on Xbox, means that you’ll have even less wear on your wrists while playing for several hours.
The BINBOK PLAY Wireless Evo Game Controller felt comfortable for extended play on active games like Rocket League as well as on more casual and relaxed experiences like . On top of that, the programmable back buttons can likely make your experience even easier by simplifying multi-button combos to a single button press to streamline your gameplay.

Below is a brief FAQ to give you further information on the BINBOK PLAY Wireless Evo Game Controller before you make your decision.
How do I change the vibration level?
Making things extra easy, there is a dedicated Vibration Button on the back of the BINBOK PLAY Wireless Evo Game Controller. You simply press the button to cycle between 0%, 30%, 50%, and 100% vibration intensity. The controller will also vibrate after the adjustment is successful to indicate the change worked.
How do you use the turbo feature?
You first hold the Turbo Button and press the button you wish to turbo (A/B/X/Y/L/R/ZL/ZR) to turn on the turbo function. The same process works to turn off that function. You can then adjust the Turbo Speed by holding the Turbo Button and moving the Right Stick up or down to increase or decrease the speed.
Are there any joycon drift issues or joystick dead zones?
The built-in ALPS joystick didn’t have any joycon drift issues during our time with the BINBOK PLAY Wireless Evo Game Controller. There is a very small dead zone built into the center of each joystick that didn’t cause us any problems, but this can be manually deactivated by turning on No Dead Zone Mode by holding the M button and pressing L3 or R3 to activate No Dead Zone Mode on that particular joystick.
Does the BINBOK PLAY Wireless Evo Game Controller need to be updated?
No, there are no automatic updates required to keep your controller functioning and it worked completely fine for us out of the box.
How long does the battery last?
The BINBOK PLAY Wireless Evo Game Controller lasted for at least six hours both via intermittent and continuous use throughout the day, but it could last even longer. If you have a tendency to play and then pause for a bit, the controller automatically turns itself off after a few minutes to conserve battery power until you dive back in. Charging went quickly when needed, but the controller didn’t need to be charged daily or even every other day in our experience.
