Pet Hospital of Penasquitos
We are an AAHA certified hospital and treat reptiles, dogs, cats, rabbits, small mammals, a few amphibians and birds (50% exotic caseload), and are a referral practice in southern California for reptiles. We match state of the art equipment with exceptional RVT's and work closely with specialty hospitals in the area. We mentor 3rd and 4th year veterinary students from around the world and veterinary technicians from multiple programs. Drs. Thomas Boyer, DABVP, Reptile and Amphibian Practice, and Marianne Caron, ABVP reptile resident, are looking for an outstanding veterinarian with excellent animal and people skills for a one year internship.

The Pet Hospital of Penasquitos is looking for a full time exotic and small animal veterinary interns. We are an AAHA certified hospital in beautiful Rancho Penasquitos, an affluent northern suburb of San Diego County, with a fantastic climate, replete with beaches, mountains and desert. We treat reptiles, dogs, cats, rabbits, small mammals, a few amphibians and birds and are a referral practice in southern California for reptiles. We match state of the art equipment with exceptional RVT's and work closely with specialty hospitals in the area and specialists that come to our hospital. We mentor 3rd and 4th year veterinary students from around the world and veterinary technicians from multiple programs. Dr. Thomas Boyer, DABVP, Reptile and Amphibian Practice, and Dr. Marianne Caron, ABVP reptile resident, are looking for an outstanding veterinarians with excellent small animal (50%) and exotic (50%) skills. We have an amazing reptile and rabbit caseload. California has eliminated the California State Board Examination and now offers reciprocity for veterinarians having passed the North American Veterinary Licensing Exam within the last five years, or holding an active out of state license for the last two years, as well as passing an open book Veterinary Law Exam. Whatever your interest, let's pursue it!
