DAY TEN of the Paris Olympics is upon us - and things are heating up inside the Stade de France.

On Sunday night, sprint superstars Noah Lyles, Kishane Thompson and Oblique Seville went head-to-head in the showpiece 100m final - and it was Lyles who took home the gold in a time of 9.79s after a photo finish.

Elsewhere, Tommy Fleetwood brought home a silver for Team GB in the final round of men's golf, while Amber Rutter also bagged another silver in the skeet shooting after a controversial shoot-off.

On Monday, Keeley Hodgkinson will aim to go one better than she did in Tokyo as she vies for 800m gold, while it's the last day to see Simone Biles in action - the goat is aiming for two more golds as she completes her campaign.

    Fine margins key to victory

Noah Lyles spoke to BBC Sport after his victory:

"You couldn't have asked for a bigger moment.

"A guy in biomechanics comes down and before I came out here, he said it was going to be this much, that's how close it is going to be and gosh was he right.

"I had to take every round as it was and I was a little upset after the first round so I came with the aggression and after I ran that 83 and I was done with the aggression.

"My sports therapist told me you need to let go, you're holding on. Let go and release it."
