Clifford’s hot June has stretched into July. The 20-year-old has three multi-hit games this month in only six games, boasting a slash line of .440/.500/.680 (1.180 OPS) after a torrid June. Clifford has raised his batting average by 46 points and on-base percentage by 23 points while maintaining impressive power numbers.

Wilfredo Lara got Brooklyn a run back in the fourth with a sac fly, but a Brenny Escanio double brought around two Renegade players, increasing the Hudson Valley lead to 4-1.
