Yes, 147 days after it first hit theaters, Barbie is became available to stream on Max. The Warner Bros. When Did 'Barbie' Come Out?
Warner Bros. Pictures released Barbie's big-screen debut in theaters across North America on July 21, 2023, and released internationally two days earlier on July 19, 2023.

Unfortunately, Barbie is no longer playing in theaters at the moment. The film has gone on to become Warner Bros' biggest movie ever at both the domestic box office and the worldwide box office, surpassing the previous record-holder The Dark Knight. It has also surpassed The Super Mario Bros. Movie in becoming the highest-grossing film of 2023.
Did 'Barbie' Screen in IMAX?
Since Barbie premiered on the same day as Christopher Nolan's Oppenheimer, it wasn't able to screen on any IMAX screens due to a pre-existing deal between Nolan, Universal, and IMAX. However, that changed on September 22, when the film finally came to the premium format alongside Never-Before-Seen Post-Credit Scenes.

How Did 'Barbie' Do at the Oscars?
Barbie caused quite a stir when the Academy Award nominations were announced back in January 2024, when the film missed nominations for Best Director for Greta Gerwig and Best Actress for Margot Robbie. That being said, Barbie still received eight nominations, which were:

The trailer shows Robbie's Barbie going through an existential crisis after she starts questioning her own mortality and her feet go flat.
